- MATHEWS
The 3rd grade classes at Mathews spent some time before Christmas learning about famous explorers who were critical to Missouri. To make the lesson fun and engaging, the teachers brought in potatoes for the kids to dress up as their explorers. Daniel Boone, La Salle, and Schoolcraft were just a few of the names the kids could pick from. The lesson brought art, history, and writing into one amazing experience the kids won’t soon forget.

Education is at the heart of all the things we do, and while everyone sees the national performances at Aetos, behind the scenes students are learning. Nixa students gain experience learning in a first-class facility, but they also gain experience working the professional shows that come through Nixa. From unloading trucks to working backstage during the live shows and everything in between, our students are doing things that seemed unreachable just a few years ago. And, they can take that experience and use it after high school in their professional lives. So, next time you are in the Meridian Title Company Performance Hall, know there is a lot of learning going all around.
